Description
Join us to Rally for your Rights at the Iowa State Capitol in DesMoines on March 10th 2009 at 1pm.
For 2 years our state government has been legislating and creating laws contrary to what the Constitution of the United States and the Iowa Constitution asserts.
These documents were created by our fore fathers as a guide to limit the powers of government so that all men, women and children can enjoy the freedoms, liberties, and the pursuit of happiness that is granted by our creator.
However as stated, a few in our legislative branch and the Governor of the State of Iowa, Governor Chet Culver, feel that the Constitution does not apply to them when they passed and signed into law HF2212, The Smoke Free Air Act.
This law isn’t about health as they claimed. It’s about controlling the populace. Even OSHA has done a study on second hand smoke in the workplace and found that there is no danger to workers. The citizens of Iowa are being denied their individual liberties. Business owners are being denied due process of the law. And the state waste millions of our tax dollars trying to enforce this unconstitutional law. This has to Stop! This is the beginning test to see what our legislators can get away with. If we allow this law to stand, what will they pass next?
We need your help, and this is your opportunity to let our legislators know how you feel about them passing these collective and socialistic laws.
On March 10th, 2009 at 1:30pm we are to meet at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines to discuss with our representatives HF2212. We are going to demand that this unconstitutional law is immediately repealed. We want to let them know that Iowans will not tolerate these type of socialist laws.
Every citizens in Iowa is encouraged to come. We cannot continue to let them outlaw our freedoms any longer.
